We’re Saying Goodbye to Pre-Orders

No more pre-orders, because we continue to work with drops, so SOLD OUT = SOLD OUT

Last year, we made a conscious decision to work with pre-orders.

The reason was simple: we wanted to keep our brand accessible while minimizing risk. As a small brand fully self-funded from savings, we carefully produce limited stock in different sizes. This helps us avoid overproduction and stay sustainable while we grow.

Because many of our items were selling out quickly, pre-orders felt like the perfect solution. It allowed us to make sure you could still secure your size, even when stock was gone. And in many ways, it worked well — it gave our community access, even when items were temporarily sold out.

But over time, we’ve learned that pre-orders also come with challenges we didn’t fully anticipate.

The reality behind pre-orders

While pre-orders helped us manage demand, they also created unexpected operational strain.

Each pre-order requires individual production handling, which increases manufacturing costs significantly. Our production partners charge more for these smaller, irregular runs because they require more manual work and flexibility.

On top of that, we’ve been trying to ship pre-orders together in bulk batches to keep costs down. However, this isn’t always possible. When timing doesn’t align, we’re often left with higher shipping fees and additional customs clearance costs — costs that are difficult to absorb as a small brand.

Unfortunately, this means that despite strong demand, pre-orders were not a sustainable model for us financially.

What this means going forward

We’ve made the decision to stop offering pre-orders.

Instead, we will only work with limited ready-to-ship stock in all sizes. This means:

  • No waiting times for production

  • No pre-order reservations

  • No uncertainty about delivery dates

  • And most importantly: once an item is sold out, it is truly gone

This shift allows us to keep quality high, operations simple, and pricing fair — while staying true to our vision as a small, independently funded brand.

What you should know

Because we continue to work with limited stock per size, our drops will remain exclusive and small-batch.

That means one thing: be quick.

If you love something, don’t wait — because restocks will be limited or not guaranteed.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us through our pre-order phase. It helped us learn, grow, and understand what works best for both our brand and our community.

This is just the next step forward — more focused, more intentional, and more aligned with how we want to grow.

See you at the next drop ❄️
